Last Night's Show

First off I want to say that Chema's Tacos (across the street for the Green Turtle) are the best Tacos in Whittier by far!! I walked into the restaurant and looked at the menu, the whole menu was just tacos, plain and simple!!! So I order chicken tacos (I'm trying to watch my weight, haha) I figure I would just eat two of them and then play the show. Well I do have to say that I waited way too long for just two tacos, that's my only complaint, but I would have to say the tacos were worth waiting for, I wish I would have taken a picture cuz these tacos were huge!!! almost like mini burritos!!! I think they were only $1.10 each, so its definitely worth it in all aspects! Ok on to the show!! The show was chill, I never expect much these days, but last nights show was very fun! I know I know we're not what we used to be, I mean the whole scene isn't what it used to be, we used to be the rulers of Whittier metal, kids have now discovered Death core and legit metal is no longer what kids want, so whatever, but we had a good metal crowd last night. I feel we're rebuilding our band right now, after so much shit in the last few months I think its time for us to buckle down and find a new bassist along with fixing a few stitches. So if you didn't know why we're not touring, well, there you go!! I hate not touring, its like my life's blood, I don't care about sold out shows, money, weed, or hoes, I just want to rock, I'll play for 2 people, I'll play for 200! Sure it does make a difference but to me all I care about is my music, but I am getting older (I'm still young only 24) and I need to think about my future and I know that I want to play to as many people as possible and try to make money doing! Now I'm not talking about selling out, I know that's very easy to do, its just the price I'm willing to pay for it. All in all I know Antagonist still has plenty on life, I know we're not done with writing and the way I feel is that true metal will never die, look at Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Testament, Exodus! they're still making music that is relevant to today! So to all who came out last night, thanks for coming and having fun with us, we're still making it happen, and to those who think we should just give up and throw in the towel, fuck you guys!! get your head out of your ass and see whats real!!
